Folder Suggest
Folder Suggest is a free Outlook add-in that uses on-device AI to recommend the right email folder for every message you read. Unlike Outlook Rules — which require you to pre-define conditions for each sender or subject — it reads the content of each email and matches it against messages already stored in your folders. No rules to create. No training required. It works immediately with whatever folder structure you already have.
The AI model runs entirely inside your browser, so no email content is ever sent to a server. On first use, a lightweight model (~20 MB) is downloaded once and cached locally. Every subsequent suggestion takes a second or two. Accept the top match with one click, or choose from up to seven ranked alternatives. An Undo button appears immediately. Folder Suggest works with Outlook classic for Windows, New Outlook, and Outlook on the web.

How it works
Open an email
Select any email in your inbox that you want to file away.
Click Suggest Folder
Hit the button in the Outlook ribbon. The pane opens and ranks your folders instantly.
Move it
Select the right folder from the list and click Move. Done — inbox zero, one email at a time.
Your emails never leave your device
Folder Suggest processes everything locally using a small AI model that runs in your browser. Microsoft Graph is used only to read your folders — nothing is stored on our servers.
